There were about 2,700 exhibitors representing the global agricultural sector. The number of exhibitors has grown by 17% since the last show in 2009. According to Dr. Reinhard Grandke, CEO of the German Agricultural Society, “the stand bookings reflect the upswing and increasingly global interlinkage of the entire agricultural industry, as well as the distinct rise in the economic significance of agriculture” (www.agritechnica.com/news.html). With such optimism and strength in this growing industry, it’s no wonder Carlisle Brake & Friction was there as an exhibitor.

This experience stabilizes our foundation within the agricultural market and ensures that our products are hard at work in the industry’s equipment all over the world. There was an assorted collection of products displayed at Agritechnica including park brakes, hydraulic valves, boosters, cylinders, and friction discs.

Agriculture is a key industry in the 21st century and is perceived as extremely important to our future while world demand for agricultural commodities grows steadily. CBF therefore intends on continuing its role as a key player in this market.
