Styled Wheels Business Joins Carlisle Brake & Friction’s Hawk Performance Group

Carlisle Brake & Friction is pleased to announce the formation of the Hawk
Performance Products Group, which will consist of the brands: Hawk Performance,
Cragar, Black Rock, and Unique. Chris Koch, President of Carlisle Brake &

Hawk Performance, a premium performance brand of Carlisle Brake & Friction, has
been a supplier of high performance motorsports brake pads to the performance
street and motorsports markets since 1990. Hawk Performance is the official
brake pad of SCCA, NASA, Richard Petty Driving Experience, Skip Barber Racing
School, and Ron Fellows Performance Driving School. In conjunction with this
announcement, the Hawk Performance Products Group is launching Quiet Slot
Rotors (http://hawkperformance.com/performance/rotors.php), a line of
rotors with industry leading dust, noise, vibration, and harshness
characteristics.

Cragar Wheels, an icon of the American muscle car scene, is best known for the Cragar
S/S and other popular hot rod and muscle car performance wheels.  Cragar
is the powerhouse American wheel brand introduced in the sixties alongside the
classic muscle cars of that era. Cragar was acquired by Carlisle Transportation
Products from Cragar Industries, Inc. in April, 2011.  The brand will be
transitioned into Hawk’s new Performance Products Group to address the vintage
muscle and modern American performance market.

The Black Rock Wheel Collection is a function-forward line of outdoor and off-road
wheels, ATV wheels and most recently, a line of aluminum Toy Hauler sport
trailer wheels. Offering steel and aluminum styles for the aftermarket truck,
SUV, ATV and Jeep enthusiast market, Black Rock features rugged designs and the
